Marketing Executive

The role is to work in the Marketing department, reporting into the Commercial Director, alongside our amazing Digital Marketing apprentice. You will be responsible for all the marketing deliverables for the company, alongside any other jobs that will be required.

Job Specification:

  • Assist Managing Director and Commercial Director in any requirements for the business.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Developing the continuous improvement of the marketing department.
  • Inventing new marketing techniques and refining those that already exist.
  • Networking to benefit suppliers, large contractors, partner organizations, and other business stakeholders.
  • Doing marketing research and analysis in order to generate relevant marketing data and assess trends.
  • Keeping track of ongoing marketing efforts and expenditures according to the budget set aside.
  • Creating and writing reports relating to an ongoing marketing campaign’s key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Designing marketing collateral that is both entertaining and grammatically correct.
  • Ensuring that marketing materials are distributed.
  • Create emails and signatures for the company on a monthly basis.
  • Update company website as needed.
  • Update Social Media channels.
  • Assist sales team with any material needed to promote the company and brand.
  • Keeping an eye on marketing trends and analyzing client behavior in order to uncover business prospects.
  • Identifying advertising possibilities and placing ads in the right media (press, radio, or television) for the product or service.
  • Managing the development of marketing materials such as leaflets, flyers, posters, and newsletters, including e-newsletters , and liaising with media, printers, and publishers as needed.
  • Maintain apprentice development and continual support.
  • Continuously improve through feedback

Requirements – Individual must have:

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of Mailchimp or similar platform desirable
  • Knowledge of Canva and Abode software desirable
  • Knowledge of WordPress desirable
  • Good project management
  • Highly motivated and pro active
  • Good communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Willingness to learn and be part of a team

Approx. 40 hours per week Monday – Friday (Friday 3pm finish), 25 days holidays per year plus national UK holidays, career progression, training and courses available, on-site parking, use of company gym and facilities. Salary negotiable dependant on experience.

Purchasing Assistant

The role is to work in the Operations department reporting into the CEO/Operations Director, alongside our fantastic Business Apprentice. You will be responsible for all the marketing purchasing deliverables for the company, alongside any other jobs that will be required.

Requirements:

  • Enter purchase orders into internal databases.
  • Update internal IT system with new purchase order details (updates, vendors, quantities, discounts).
  • Follow-up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
  • Track orders and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Liaise with traffic team and warehouse team to ensure all products arrive in good condition.
  • Assist in monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs.
  • Maintain updated records.
  • Initiate vendor claims as needed.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
